Chumoukedima, April 22 (HBTV):  The Government of the People's Republic of Nagaland (GPRN), National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) – Unification has impeached its incumbent General Secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi and appointed 'unanimously' elected Alezo Venuh as the of the GPRN/NSCN.

This declaration was made during its extraordinary emergency ‘national assembly' on April 21 at Tatar hall, Naga Unification Camp in Khehoyi.

In its declaration, the house had noted that Zhimomi, the Ato Kilonser of the Government of the People's Republic of Nagaland (GPRN) had 'willfully’ violated Article 18 of the ‘national yehzabo’ and party discipline.

Zhimomi was charged with huge financial liabilities by the group. It also alleged that the main cause of the weak financial stability was due to the ato kilonser's 'self motivated financial strategy.' It blamed Zhimomi’s lack of focus as the cause of weakening GPRN.

The House alleged that the ato kilonser, inspite of many advices from members failed to consider nor brought in any exemplary changes in running the government.
