BJP leader Bhattacharjee criticized the opposition alliance, calling it opportunistic and focused solely on attaining power.

Expressing confidence in winning both Lok Sabha seats, Bhattacharjee also highlighted Tipra Motha's inclusion in their alliance.

BJP's candidates, Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Devi Debbarma, were noted as strong contenders.

Meanwhile, Bhattacharjee dismissed former CM Manik Sarkar's support for the Congress candidate, questioning his departure from Communist ideology. He rejected the opposition's claims of safeguarding democracy and secularism as mere power grabs.

Bhattacharjee also emphasized BJP's commitment to maintaining peace and discipline, urging party workers to avoid provocation from opposition parties. He further stressed on the importance of upholding law and order as the ruling party.
