Tel Aviv [Israel], May 6 (HBTV): For the first time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has acquired 20 armoured Tiger Ambulances designed to evacuate wounded soldiers from deep within enemy territory, even under direct fire.

The newly deployed vehicles combine advanced medical equipment with high-level armour protection, addressing a critical need identified during the ongoing conflict. These mobile medical units will allow for immediate treatment on the battlefield within a protected environment, significantly improving the survival chances of injured personnel.

The project was developed through a collaboration between Shefer-Bar (of the Yossi Ambulances Group) and Plasan Sasa.
