Dimapur, Nagaland, March 22 (HBTV): In an apparent case of romance gone sideways, a 26-year-old store manager of Realme Store was stabbed several times with a knife inside the store at approximately 11:30 AM on Friday, in Dimapur.         

The victim has been identified as one Deepali while the attacker was identified as one Abdul Majid.                   

The incident reportedly happened when Deepali was alone at the store. She was taken to Nikos hospital in Dimapur for treatment. At press time, reports said her condition was stable.      

Unconfirmed reports said that the two persons knew each other and probably might have ‘liked’ each other or were dating in the past.   

According to reports, the alleged attacker threw chili power on her before stabbing her multiple times.

Family members filed an FIR at the police station.    

Majid is reportedly absconding.                 

Police investigation is underway.                      

The victim’s mother has appealed to the police to arrest the culprit and deliver justice.
