NPF hoists party flag, assures to be loyal partner for BJP and other partners

Imphal, March 25 (HBTV): Naga Peoples Front's (NPF) Manipur president Awangbow Newmai, who is also the Minister for Water Resources, today hoisted the NPF flag for the Lok Sabha elections’ candidate Kachui Timothy Zimik at Imphal East, Manipur.



The ceremony was attended by various Naga ministers and MLAs, officials of United Naga Council, central committee of NPF and CSOs of manipur.



Speaking on the event, Awangbow Newmai said the NPF only stand for peace and prosperity. “Helping each other and extending co-operation will bring peace. Shouting for peace can't bring peace, starting from own step for initiating peace can only bring peace,” he said.



Newmai also thanked Prime Minister Marendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda, state president A. Sharda, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma for giving opportunity to the NPF.



The party president assured that the NPF will be a loyal partner for BJP and other line partner.
