Seoul [South Korea], August 31 (HBTV): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Lee Jae Jeng, Chairman, and senior officials of the Advanced Technology Centre Association (ATCA) in Seoul to promote investment opportunities in the state.
ATCA is a network of more than 60 companies spanning IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. During the meeting, Sai invited the officials to visit Chhattisgarh during their upcoming India tour and explore collaborations under the state’s investor-friendly policy.
‘In Seoul, I met Mr Lee Jae Jeng, Chairman and senior officials of ATCA, a network of 60+ companies in IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharma, and textiles. I invited them to visit Chhattisgarh during their India tour and explore collaborations under our investor-friendly policy,’ the Chief Minister said.
The discussions in Seoul followed Sai’s visit to Tokyo last week, where he held meetings with business leaders to attract global investment for Chhattisgarh. He met Kayo Ito, CEO of NTT Ltd Japan, and discussed digital and advanced IT-driven investments in the state.
‘Upon arrival in Tokyo, I met Ms Kayo Ito, CEO of NTT Ltd Japan, a global leader in IT infrastructure and digital solutions with USD 90 billion revenue. Discussions were held on digital and advanced IT and tech-driven investments in Chhattisgarh,’ Sai said.
The Chief Minister also attended a dinner hosted by Indian Ambassador to Japan Sibi George, where discussions focused on strengthening Chhattisgarh’s industries with Japanese technology and advancing sustainable Indo-Pacific trade.
According to the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Sai is leading a high-level delegation on an official tour of Japan and South Korea on the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), Government of India. The visit aims to position Chhattisgarh on the global investment map.
Between August 22 and 24, the delegation held investor connect sessions and business meetings in Tokyo with Japanese industrialists, trade associations, and investors. Sai will also travel to Osaka on August 25 to attend the World Expo 2025 and hold discussions with stakeholders on potential investments in Chhattisgarh.
In the last leg of the tour, from August 27 to 29, the delegation will participate in investor roundtable meetings, interactions with top Korean companies and trade associations, and sector-specific dialogues in Seoul.
The Chhattisgarh Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, under Bharat Mandapam, will showcase the state’s heritage, innovation culture, and emerging sectors to a global audience. Sai said the platform would be used to attract investments in steel, mining, clean energy, and startups.
