The Chhattisgarh government’s Samadhan Shivir initiative has achieved significant success in Bastar district, with 85% of public grievances resolved on the spot.

Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh) [India], May 16 (HBTV): The Chhattisgarh government’s Samadhan Shivir initiative has achieved significant success in Bastar district, with 85% of public grievances resolved on the spot. Organised across 13–14 Gram Panchayats of Jagdalpur district, the programme addressed over 4,000 applications, most of which were related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

Kiran Singh Deo, State President of BJP-Chhattisgarh and MLA from the Jagdalpur Assembly constituency, said: ‘Today, a massive Samadhan Shivir was organised in 13 to 14 Gram Panchayats of Jagdalpur. I congratulate the respected Chief Minister and various departments for the way the applications received through Sushasan Tihar are being resolved in all Panchayats. A total of 85% of cases have been resolved today.’

He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, crediting them for improving governance and successfully resolving public issues. He highlighted that the volume of applications demonstrated strong public trust in the government’s initiatives.

‘More than 4,000 applications were received, and this is a very good sign. All departments have set up different stalls. Issues that can be resolved immediately are being addressed on the spot. The welfare schemes of our double engine government — the respected Prime Minister and our Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai ji — are benefitting all sections of society. The public is happy to see their concerns being resolved so quickly, and you can see the large turnout. The most important thing is that 85% of the cases have been resolved,’ he said.

He further added: ‘Our officers from all divisions — commissioners, collectors, CEOs, district panchayat members, and officials of various departments — have collectively resolved these applications. A provision has been made to resolve the remaining 15% by the 31st.’

Residents also expressed their gratitude to the government for quick and effective resolutions. Nirmala Pandey, a beneficiary of the PMAY scheme, said: ‘I had applied for a house and was living in a mud hut. My request was not approved earlier, but thanks to the current good governance initiatives, my house has been sanctioned, and I received it today. I’m deeply thankful to the government. With my new pucca house, I’ll be able to take better care of my children.’

Another resident, Amul Chandra Joshi, added: ‘I had applied for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana here itself. Earlier, I lived in a mud house on someone else's land. Now, the house has been approved. I would like to thank the government.’

The Samadhan Shivir initiative stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to improving public service delivery and addressing the needs of its citizens.
