Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], June 20 (HBTV): A unique initiative, Chintan Shivir 2.0, commenced on Sunday at the IIM Raipur campus, marking a significant step in Chhattisgarh's contribution to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

According to an official press statement, this is not an ordinary government meeting, but a reflective platform where state ministers gather to share experiences, lessons from public service, and field insights. The two-day retreat, held under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is designed for ministers to evaluate their journey over the past one and a half years and to collaboratively plan for the future.

The primary aim of the Shivir is to define Chhattisgarh's clear and meaningful role in the national mission of building a developed India by 2047. Each minister is presenting innovations from their respective departments, key lessons learned, and a forward-looking roadmap. The programme includes special sessions on the themes of Seva (Service), Sankalp (Resolve), and Seekh (Learning).

Renowned experts from across the country are delivering lectures on crucial topics such as good governance, transparency, digital administration, public service ethos, cultural consciousness, and nation-building. The Shivir is structured as a learning workshop, encouraging active ministerial participation in strengthening administrative vision and capacity.

A key highlight of the event is a session titled ‘From Good Governance to Elections,’ focusing on policy transparency, public accountability, and decision-making in the interest of citizens. The Chief Minister is also sharing insights from his recent meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, aiming to ensure closer alignment between state and central policies.

Another area of emphasis is the transformation underway in regions like Bastar, historically regarded as underdeveloped. The region has recently witnessed progress in tourism, self-employment, and infrastructure. Ministers are sharing ground-level observations and project outcomes, emphasising the need for inclusive development that reaches every part of the state.

The Shivir also provides an opportunity for introspection, as ministers review past decisions and plan ways to make governance more people-centric and impactful. Chief Minister Sai reiterated that each minister is not merely a departmental head, but a partner in development, an agent of change, and a responsible public servant.
