New Delhi (India), August 26 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini assured traders that the government stands with them and will resolve any issues on a priority basis, acknowledging their contribution to the state’s development.

During an interaction with office-bearers of the Haryana Oil Mills Association of Khal Binola Traders at the Multi Art Culture Centre, Kurukshetra, CM Saini announced a reduction in the lump sum fee on binola machines from INR 42,000 to INR 21,000, responding to long-standing demands. Traders honoured the Chief Minister by presenting him a turban and highlighted problems faced by their community. Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, former Minister Aseem Goel, and other officials from the association were present.

Earlier in the day, CM Saini attended Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at Gurjar Dharamshala in Kurukshetra and extended greetings to the people of the state. He said the festival is deeply connected to Indian culture and conveys a timeless message of unity and brotherhood. Highlighting Kurukshetra as the sacred land where Lord Krishna imparted the teachings of the Gita to Arjuna, he said, ‘The wisdom of the Gita, emphasising action, protection of dharma, and the victory of truth, remains highly relevant in our lives today.’

CM Saini emphasised that as Haryana moves towards a modern and inclusive society, the principles of the Gita continue to inspire progress. He said the government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,’ ensuring that every citizen benefits from schemes without bias.

The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of preserving culture alongside development, citing initiatives such as Sri Krishna Mahotsav, International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, and international Gita Mahotsav events abroad. He also spoke about Lord Krishna’s association with Gokul and the Gopal culture in the Gurjar community, encouraging people to follow the principles of dharma, justice, and truth.

Responding to community requests, CM Saini announced that he would meet the Union Railway Minister to facilitate the construction of an access route to the Dharamshala and provide INR 51 lakh to support its public service activities. He assured that the government would address all other feasible demands put forward by the community. Former Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar also addressed the programme.
