Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 26 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday assured people that the government will provide financial assistance for the treatment of serious diseases during Janta Darshan.
CM Yogi stated that patients will receive treatment at the best hospitals without worrying about finances, as the government will make necessary arrangements. He instructed officers to complete the process of identifying those in need of financial assistance promptly and submit it to the government. Adequate support will be provided to every eligible person from the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund.
During the Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi met around 200 people, heard their grievances individually in the Smriti Bhawan auditorium, and handed over applications to concerned officials, assuring timely resolution. He emphasized that public problems must be addressed with seriousness and sensitivity, resolved quickly, effectively, and satisfactorily so that no one faces difficulties.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to adopt a compassionate approach towards victims and resolve issues without negligence. He stressed strict legal action against anyone occupying land illegally or harassing others. In family disputes, priority should be given to mediating between parties. At the request of a woman, he instructed officers to grant her the land lease.
On Saturday, CM Yogi offered prayers at Gorakhnath Temple, accompanied by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan. Commenting on the visit, Ravi Kishan wrote on X, ‘The presence of Maharaj Ji (Yogi Adityanath) at the feet of Gorakhnath Baba.’
