Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday unveiled the new official website of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.

New Delhi [India], August 10 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini unveiled the new official website of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, aimed at enhancing transparency and eliminating leakages in the system.

The Chief Minister said the new website would bring the Revenue Department closer to the people by consolidating all revenue services onto a single platform, removing the need for repeated visits to revenue offices.

According to an official release, the technologically advanced website includes features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) for accessing multiple applications with a single login, online slot booking, real-time digital display systems, dedicated help desks, and information available in local languages.

A key highlight is the facility for citizens to submit registration applications from their homes, requiring only one biometric presence for finalisation, significantly simplifying the process. With the launch of this website, all 26 services will be accessible from one platform. The state government also plans to modernise all registration offices by restructuring them on the model of Passport Seva Kendras.

The Chief Minister said the Haryana government has entered a new era of GIS-based revenue records, enabling real-time monitoring of land status. The demarcation process has been made paperless, using rovers and a dedicated demarcation portal for greater efficiency and accuracy. Each district now has modern record rooms equipped with state-of-the-art scanning technology and public-facing desks.

So far, the department has digitised and scanned 39.80 crore pages, with 39.57 crore pages uploaded to a central database accessible via the Web HALRIS portal.

Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel, who also holds the Revenue and Disaster Management portfolio, said Haryana is making significant progress in transforming land governance. He highlighted initiatives such as the Haryana Large Scale Mapping Project (HaLSMP) and the Modern Revenue Record Rooms (MRRR) project, aimed at safeguarding essential land data from natural and man-made disruptions.
