The NIA has filed a chargesheet against five accused, including designated terrorist Goldy Brar, in connection with the 2024 bomb attacks at two clubs in Gurugram, Haryana.

New Delhi [India], June 19 (HBTV): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against five accused, including designated terrorist Goldy Brar, in connection with the 2024 bomb attacks at two clubs in Gurugram, Haryana, according to an official statement from the agency.

The chargesheet names Canada-based Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar, along with Sachin Taliyan, Ankit, Bhawish, and US-based Randeep Singh alias Randeep Malik. They have been booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Arms Act, the Explosive Substances Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Except for Goldy Brar and Randeep Malik, the other three accused have been arrested in the case.

According to the NIA, the accused were involved in a conspiracy to bomb the Warehouse Club and Human Club in Sector 29, Gurugram, as part of a larger plan by the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) to spread communal disharmony and disrupt peace in Haryana and neighbouring areas through acts of violence.

The twin bombings occurred on December 10, 2024. Investigations later revealed that the attack was carried out by members and cadres of the proscribed BKI terror organisation and was orchestrated by Goldy Brar and his associates.

The NIA's probe also uncovered that the terror syndicate was engaged in a wide range of unlawful activities, including extortion, raising terror funds, procuring explosives and arms, and inciting fear among the public in a bid to undermine the country’s integrity, security—including economic security—and sovereignty.

The anti-terror agency confirmed that the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
