Spreading hatred against other religions is not our Hindutva, says Uddhav Thackeray

Shiv Sena chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday said that there is a difference between its 'Hindutva' and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Hindutva.

Nanded (Maharashtra) [India], March 19 (HBTV): Shiv Sena (UBT faction) chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday said that there is a difference between "our Hindutva and BJP's (Bharatiya Janata Party’s) Hindutva."  



"Those who left us are spreading rumors that I have left Bala Saheb's ideology. I have not left Hindutva. There is a difference between our Hindutva and BJP's Hindutva. Our Hindutva is nationalist. Spreading hatred against other religions is not our Hindutva," Uddhav Thackeray said while addressing a rally in Maharashtra's Nanded on Tuesday.   



Thackeray said that the names of the candidates for Maha Vikas Aghadi will be announced in a day or two.



"The names of the candidates of Maha Vikas Aghadi will be announced in a day or two, said Thackeray.



Thackeray's announcement came at a time when Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi is facing trouble finalizing seat shares.
