Karimganj, Assam, May 22 (HBTV): A man in Karimganj district of Assam was killed on Tuesday while his wife was injured when the victims were reportedly trying to charge a mobile phone.

A man identified as 38 years old Bijoy Roy was electrocuted while he was trying to charge his mobile phone. He was killed on the spot, updates said. His wife who tried to safe him was also critically injured , updates received here said.      

The incident took place in Kazirbazaar of Karimganj district.    

Roy's wife is currently under treatment in Karimganj Civil Hospital.
