According to officials, a total of 2000 households have been listed as beneficiaries in the district. An official from the DDMA of Mokokchung said the identification of beneficiaries and distribution process is initiated by concerned ward authorities or village councils along with administrative officials in various sub-divisions and sadars.
Ward authorities in Mokokchung town have informed that distribution of food packages will start from tomorrow, it was informed.     
The relief items were arranged and provided by the District Disaster Management Authority or DDMA, Mokokchung, while volunteers from Mokokchung Town Ao Baptist Arogo youth department assisted in the packaging of the relief items.
